We directed a collaboration between The Smurfs and the K-pop band Seventeen.
We brought the Smurfs into the “God of Music” video that was released last year, and created a short, fully animated segment at the end from scratch.
It was a truly special experience and a pure joy to work on.
Cosmos-Maya, an India-based studio, masterfully executed the vision.
Smurfs x Seventeen
The challenge was to come up with a concept that could be layered on top of the existing video in a way that feels organic.
In the original music video, the Seventeen bring music back to the world.
We added the Smurfs to help them on their mission, and at the end of the video,
the Seventeen are brought into Smurf Village to return a favor to the Smurfs.
